Railway Group D Recruitment Exam will be held in these months next year
Railway Board Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Vinod Kumar Yadav said on Tuesday that Railway Group D (Level-1) recruitment examination for more than 1.03 lakh posts will be conducted between April 15 and June 2021. He said that NTPC recruitment exam for more than 35 thousand posts will start from December 28. He said that computerized examinations will be conducted between December 15 and 18 for 1663 posts (ministerial and isolate category) of steno and teachers. There were 2 crore 44 lakh applications for a total of 1,40,640 posts. A few days ago, Indian Railways announced that 20% of the total vacancy (1,03,769) will be reserved for apprentices. The Railway release said that under the Apprentices Act 2016, Indian Railways has reserved 20 per cent (20,734 posts) out of 1.03 lakh recruitments for Level-1 for the apprentice youth. This recruitment process is going on. Let me tell you that under the Railway Apprenticeship Program, training the youth from time to time so that they can learn the skill of working. These youngsters trained are called apprentices.
