Prime Minister Narendra Modi can visit his parliamentary constituency on Dev Diwali. This will be the first time in this world famous Kashi event when the Prime Minister will be involved. The PM will also interact with the party workers by handing over the Rs 2447 crore Rajatlab-Handia Sixlane Project. He can also visit the Light and Sound Show at Sarnath. According to DM Kaushalraj Sharma, there have been indications of PM’s one-day visit from the Prime Minister’s Office on November 30.
According to the expected schedule, PM Modi will reach Varanasi after noon. First of all, he will be in the launch program of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in Khajuri village adjacent to Mirzamurad market. Addressing a gathering of five thousand BJP workers here, he will reach Sujabad by helicopter. Then by boat we will reach Kashi Vishwanath Corridor.
After having darshan at Shri Kashi-Vishwanath temple, he can attend the Dev-Diwali festival at Rajghat as the chief guest after reviewing the works of the corridor. After spending almost an hour at the ghat, PM Modi will take a view of the lamp donated on both sides of the Ganges by boat from Rajghat to Ravidas Ghat. After this, we will see the light and sound show on Dhammastup in Sarnath. He will leave for Delhi at night.
