Sonia Gandhi to hold Rally in Muzaffarpur
Congress president Sonia Gandhi is reaching Muzaffarpur on May 5 to address an election meeting to seek votes for the party candidate and former Union minister Akhilesh Prasad Singh.
“Sonia Gandhi’s meeting will be held at policeline ground in Baria locality at 3pm on Monday. Congress Bihar in charge Satyavrat Chaturvedi, BPCC president Ashok Choudhary, CLP leader Sadanand Singh and party’s in charge secretary Paresh Dhanani will also be present,” BPCC vice-president and media in charge Prem Chandra Mishra said here on Sunday.
Muzaffarpur constituency goes to polls on May 7. It will be the second election rally of Sonia in Bihar, after the first held on April 3 at Sasaram where the Congress chief sought votes for Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar.
