From February 8, only 50% of
children in government and private schools will come.
Children from classes six to eight will come to school from February 8. The Bihar government has given permissionto open all government and private schools from VI to VIII with certain conditions. In one day only 50 percent of the children of the class will come to school. The remaining 50 percent of the children will come on the second day. But now all the teachers will come to school every day. Earlier only 50 percent teachers were allowed to come to school. Children will come to school with the written consent of their parents.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the disaster management group chaired by Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar on Friday. Education Department Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar said after the meeting that schools from ninth to 12th are opening with some conditions from January 4. Considering all those conditions, now schools from classes six to eight will also open from February 8. In government schools in class six to eight, all children will be given two masks. You will be allowed to come to school only wearing a mask. It will be the responsibility of the school administration to ensure adherence to social distancing.
Decision on school up to fifth not yet
It has not been decided yet to open schools from 1st to 5th. They will remain closed for now. Given the situation after February 8, a decision will be taken on this matter. After this, a disaster management group meeting is expected to be held after this. In that meeting, the school of children from first to fifth will consider opening. It may be noted that all the schools in the state have been closed since March 14, 2020 in view of the Corona infection. Initially, the schools were closed till 31st March, the duration of which increased later. In this way, schools and colleges were closed for nine and a half months. In the meantime, online reading and learning of children was arranged. Schools from ninth to 12th have been opened since January 4, 2021.
