Cap survey decision in 20 districts
After Bihar assembly elections 2020, the commission has now decided to conduct a cap survey in 20 districts of the state. The responsibility of the CAP i.e. Knowledge, Attitude and Practice Survey has been given by the Election Commission to Chandragupta Institute of Management, Patna. Apart from knowing the attitude of the voters from the last three elections, the reasons for falling vote percentage from this survey are being studied.
Mithilesh Kumar Sahu, Joint Chief Electoral Officer of the Election Department, has issued orders in this regard. He has also instructed all district election officers to support the survey team and make available necessary resources to them. He has said that under this survey, information, attitude and practice ie voters’ knowledge, attitude and habit will be taken in the assembly elections. It is noteworthy that the base line survey was also conducted in 25 districts just before the election, now this end survey is being conducted after the election. Based on the results of this survey, a strategy for further elections will be prepared.
Survey will be held in the assembly constituencies of these districts:
East Champaran: 17 Pipra and 19 Motihari, Sitamarhi: 24 Bathnaha safe and 28 Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur: 89 Orai and 94 Muzaffarpur, Vaishali: 125 Vaishali and 129 Mahanar, Saran: 115 Baniyapur and 121 Parsa, Siwan: 107 Darauli safe and 108 Raghunathpur , Madhubani: 37 Rajanagar safe and 38 Jhanjharpur, Darbhanga: 78 Kuseshwar place safe and 83 Darbhanga, Samastipur: 235 Marewa and 140 Hasanpur, Supaul: Triveniganj safe and 45 Umburpur, Purnia: 60 Rupauli and 62 Purnia, Katihar: 63 Katihar and 67 Manihari safe, Nalanda: 173 Rajgari safe and 174 Islampur, Patna: 180 Bakhtiyarpur and 188 Phulwari safe, Bhojpur: 194 Ara and 197 Jagdishpur, Rohtas: 208 Sasaram and 212 Dehri, Bhagalpur: 153 Gopalpur and 154 Pirpainti.
