On Thursday, the Collectorate headed by DM Pranab Kumar. In this, discussions were on to speed up the operation of development works in the villages affected by Kanti Thermal. Along with this, appeals were also made by the administration and thermal management for cooperation in pending work for land acquisition. In the meeting, Kanti chief Mukesh Pandey and Manikpur Narottam Panchayat chief Shashi Thakur apprised the local people about their problems and demanded cooperation in the development work. A demand letter was also kept in this regard. This includes development of a wellness center at Veerapur Panchavati, providing free and uninterrupted electricity to farmers in an area of ​​five kilometers of thermal, construction of Ratanpura Canal Bridge and determination of compensation at the new rate of land acquired for the ash deck pipeline. The meeting was also attended by MP Veena Devi, Meenapur deputy chief Ranjan Kumar Singh, Virpur chief Kumari Yachna, Nariyar chief Sanjay Dubey, Dhebaha chief Vinod Ram.
