Hearing on remand of girl child homicide main accused Brajesh Thakur will now be held on November 7
Brajesh Thakur, who is serving a life sentence in Delhi's Tihar Jail in the much-talked-about girl child homicide case, will now be heard on November 7 on the point of remand in the Swadhar Grih. Hearing on Tuesday, the special court has set a date for the next hearing. The police was absent in the court during the hearing.
The police did not put the side at the point of remand. Due to this, no action could be taken. Earlier on October 7, the side of the police was not kept. On August 18, the application was filed through offline. After this, online application was filed again on October 5. Due to the busyness of electoral duty towards the police, there was a delay in placing the side.
After approval of remand, Brajesh Thakur can be shifted from Delhi to Muzaffarpur Jail. After this, further proceedings will be started. His remand will open the secrets of the Swadhar Griha and other accused. Let me tell you that 11 women and four children mysteriously disappeared from the Swadhar Greh operated in Bharat Mata Lane on Sahu Road. On 30 June 2018, the then Assistant Director of Child Protection Unit, Divesh Kumar Sharma lodged an FIR in the Mahila police station.
